“Unexpected goodness!! In the land of many quality Thai spots: I wasn’t expecting to find a really good one right in downtown. Most places I love are outside of downtown. Pleasant surprise indeed!!”Latifa S. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“Came here on a Friday night in search of a little spice after too much Thanksgiving turkey, and found what we needed! Service was prompt and attentive without being intrusive… Overall we’ve had good experiences here, I would definitely return again!”Kurt P. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“Everything we ordered was delicious and authentic. We ordered papaya salad, larb, pad see ew and a yellow curry. I really like the flavors and in true Issan style, nothing was sweet. Service was really lovely and the GM was helpful in suggesting other places we could visit while we were on our trip.”Anita L. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“Our readers named more than 50 of their favorite spots for Thai food from Lake Oswego, Beaverton and nearly every neighborhood in Portland… naming downtown Portland’s E-San Thai Cuisine as their favorite local Thai restaurant.”Michael Russell (OregonLive.com) | http://www.oregonlive.com/dining/

“11/10 would recommend… Right now considering getting FedEx to deliver the Thai sausage fried rice to Singapore.”Grace Y. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“I love this restaurant! I work in the area and it is one of my go-to recommendations for others! From everyone I have recommended, they’ve all come back to tell me how much they enjoyed the food. It’s a great find for people looking for Asian food near Old Town / Chinatown.”Alyssa C. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“I came here after my first choice was closed on Memorial Day. I don’t know what the first choice would have tasted like but Esan Thai was so good! I ordered the Po Hang and it was perfect… I was full halfway through but couldn’t stop eating.”Julie K. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“Dope af. The guy who works here makes the freshest food, and plays the dopest jams. I died upon eating. I don’t want to be that annoying person who says it’s authentic so what I’ll say instead is that it’s flavorful af, which you won’t see at many other places. I’m a white girl and he didn’t protect me from flavor.”Baby B. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“This seriously is our go to for Thai Food. Everything on the menu is pretty consistent and very delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant has a semi-authentic Asian exotic feel. Great place for lunch… My favorite is the Pumpkin Curry with chicken! The Thai Sausage Fried Rice is so flavorful and delicious, it’s a must try!”Linda T. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“Must get the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. It was so tasty. Sat at bar and everybody was super friendly. I would definitely come back next time I’m in Portland.”Alaysia P. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland

“WOW, tasty Thai! I had pad see ew and it was litterally amazing. One of the best I have ever had. No drinks for me this time but I would recommend this place to anyone. Prices very affordable too.”CateMilk | https://www.tripadvisor.com/Restaurant_Review-g52024-d667125-Reviews-Esan_Thai_Restaurant-Portland_Oregon.html

“Everything in Portland was so delicious but this Thai place was seriously so amazing. This was the best Thai food— I come from SF and SD which has some really bomb Thai places, but this place takes the cake. We had the RED CURRY with pork (I don’t even like coconut milk, but I was licking my plate it was so good and addicting!) and the PAD KEE MAO. Oh man the Pad Kee Mao was soooo good… LOVED IT!”Annie K. | http://www.yelp.com/biz/e-san-thai-cuisine-portland
